Community Round Table

With our purpose of community prosperity in mind, the Sussex & District Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Horizon Health Network’s Department of Population Health and United Way with funding from the Community Capacity and Resiliency branch of the Department of Justice and Public Safety to host a series of community round tables.

It is our hope that this event will establish ongoing communication channels to continue the dialogue and collaboration by bringing people together to work towards a common goal and create positive change in our community.

The purpose will to generate solutions, through collaboration and dialogue, with the goal of improving the well-being of the community. This session is a follow up session for our previous gatherings, however, you are still welcome to attend if you were unable to be there. From our previous conversations, four topics of concern came up: lack of community awareness for the organizations and programs, a need for more volunteers, funding and youth programming support. We’ve addressed and found some solutions for the first two and will recap those before we move into the discussion about the other topics.
